Dental Implants
Placed personally by a periodontist
Do I need an implant if a tooth is missing or very loose?
If a tooth has to be extracted or is already missing, an implant can restore your chewing and a natural look. Weak jawbone or untreated gum disease raises the risk of failure, so it is safest to get a periodontist's diagnosis and gum treatment first, then decide whether and how to place an implant.
Gum (Periodontal) Treatment
Healthy gums that keep implants lasting
My gums bleed or are swollen. What treatment do I need?
Bleeding or swollen gums can be an early sign of gingivitis or periodontitis. Mild cases improve with scaling, but if inflammation has reached the bone, deep cleaning or gum surgery may be needed. Left untreated, teeth can loosen or fall out, so early diagnosis by a periodontist matters.
General Dentistry
Fillings, root canals and crowns
What treatment do I need for a cavity or wisdom tooth pain?
Early cavities are treated with resin or inlay fillings, but if decay has reached the nerve, you need a root canal followed by a crown. Wisdom teeth that repeatedly cause pain or gum inflammation are usually best removed; we check their position relative to nerves and neighboring teeth on X-ray first.
Children's Dentistry
A healthy start for your child's teeth
How can I prevent cavities in my child's teeth?
Cavities spread faster in baby teeth than in adult teeth, so regular check-ups and preventive care are important. Sealants that fill the grooves of back teeth and fluoride treatments reduce cavities, and treating any cavity early with resin or a crown limits its effect on developing teeth and jaws.
